ENDOVENOUS ABLATIONS

A minimally invasive, outpatient procedure to treat varicose veins, using heat (from a laser or radiofrequency) or other energy to seal and collapse the damaged vein. The procedure uses a catheter inserted into the vein, and the vein eventually turns into scar tissue, with blood rerouting through healthy veins.

Loop implant

An implantable loop recorder is a type of heart-monitoring device that records your heart rhythm continuously for up to three years. It records the electrical signals of your heart and allows remote monitoring by way of a small device inserted just beneath the skin of the chest.

LOOP EXPLANT

When the implantable loop recorder has reached battery expiry, it may be removed.
